This is a blog about my life and things I think about. I try to sound like I know something although I may not be all that great at it :P I hope, however, that you find it interesting.

simple thoughts......
i won't lie, i do like being well aware of my surroundings. but there are times that i would prefer if i could simply concentrate on one thing. take reading the Bible. when i read my Bible, i like to understand it the first time. there are many times that i reread an entire chapter because i realize i was thinking about thirty other things, and although i have a pretty good idea of what i was thinking about and what i was reading, i realize that i missed something. it doesn't make perfect sense. perfect understanding only comes by the Holy Spirit, however it helps to actually read it.
unforetunately, this is all the time i have. and although i know everyone just loves to listen to me talk (which is a joke), i simply must leave.
may you glorify God in all things that you do, and let people se Christ in you.
-therefore, seeing that we are surrounded by such a great cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which so easily besets us, and run with endurance the race that is set before us- Hebrews 12:1

agathokakological
"what are you looking for? maybe i can help. i'm kind of. well sort of. i consider myself to be very knowledgeable of newspapers. i could tell you where to find what you're looking for. hm? what do you say?" the person on His left was persistent. He was getting a bit agitated by the intrusion. "i mean. well if you don't want my help i don't have to. i just noticed how you've been looking through that old thing for a few minutes now." His mind was far more complex than this person's on His left. as a matter of fact He had already figured out the person on His left's name. it was easier than most. the innocent soul had basically given it to Him. how unfortunate.
"you want to help?" came the shockingly dark reply. "I suppose I could use the help." the words were drawn out, long and thin. barely escaping his mouth, while at the same time burning into the ears of the wretched soul who had so foolishly walked into His path. His path was filled with everything evil. the smell, or perhaps reek, given off my this soon to be non-existent soul was unholy. however most things are. nevertheless, this bothered Him greatly. He decided to make it quick. "i need you to find a word for me. it is god."
"that's it? ok, hang on." taking the paper in his hands the wretch took to his task. it only took him two minutes to find a section in the paper that read, "Come worship God the Creator, this Sunday at 9 am. Meal to follow service." turning the paper back back to Him, he pointed it out.
"no. that's not god.read it again."
"i'm sure it is, i just read it.
"i did too."
"are you calling me a liar?"
"no. however, i am not a liar. perhaps you're only mistaken."
"i'm not kiddin', man. this is it! right here in the paper. it says... oh, my god, you're right. but this is weird." he read it again three times. he couldn't believe his own eyes. perhaps he had been so eager to impress that he had made a mistake. he scanned the ads surrounding this one but found no others that could be what he was looking for. the words he had read. must have. didn't he? the helpless fool read it one last time, "looking for dogs? brand new litter of labs ready to be taken! come at 9 am and be the first to pick!"
"i'm sorry, my mistake. let me see. i can find... what was i looking for?"
"a word."
"oh, yes... what word?"
His plan was playing out flawlessly. "god."
"what?" it took a few seconds for him to grasp the meaning of the one syllable word. God? oh yeah. God. the found soul became lost in his work. in fact he became lost to more than his work. his very mind was un-weaving. but he didn't know this. too bad. he couldn't feel all his logic and many long conversations spent defending his faith over the last two decades of his life. he could remember only "logical" things. then he found it. right where it should be. on the front page of the paper in the upper right hand corner. "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. -John 3:16." the weekly verse. and it had the word God in it. he pointed at it.
"i don't see the word."
"it's the second word in." however, not wanting to make the same mistake twice he read it again. "now open! the 'greenest' coffee on the planet! 301 E main. bring in this ad, this week only, and get a free sample of whatever coffee you want." weird. the wretch looked at Him. "can i take this ad? i love coffee."
it had worked. or had it? best not to let him go without a test. "sure. oh, and i hear god is working there today. can you take him this letter?" handing him a red letter with a seal on it, the stranger stood. "thank you."
"who's god?" he was very confused. "and thank you for what?"
"never mind. i'll do it myself. and thank you for your help." without further explanation, He turned and walked out.
He forgot the letter. oh well. he got up after tearing the coupon out and walked out. he took an immediate left and began his journey to the coffee shop.

ramblings
i think that i should learn to love. hmm. it seems that should start a blog, not the second or third paragraph of a blog. and with a little readjusting of the blog's structure i could make it such. but no, i shall not. although it seems to fit better at the start it shall stay where it is and you (if you exist [not to be taken too deeply {basically suggesting}, as i am simply refering to the possibility that no one reads my blog {which in my opinion is actually a very valid concern}]) will have to endure my explaination of why i left it. so there it is. now in order to keep my paragraphs short i shall have to add a third at this point.
"i think that i should learn to love", is where i left off. what i mean by this is profoundly beyond my capability of putting into words, as well as beyond my understanding. (<-Period *as if spoken*). but nevertheless i shall attempt the impossible. one of my biggest flaws is my ability to be kind and loving to one person, but the next moment i turn into a villainess madman; as if i were plotting to kill someone. basically i can becoem wuite ruthless towards someone if i find a flaw in them that i don't like. well... here's the prediciment. i can find flaws i dislike in almost anyone. such as when someone drives too slow, smells weird, looks weird, acts weird, talks weird, argues with me (when i "know" i'm right), makes noises with their mouth while talking to me, stand behind me when i'm doing something (just about anything) and breathes at an audible volume, breathes heavy, talks with dumb (in my opinion) words, dresses badly (lousy style [again, my opinion]) and a great number of other things.
i kinda suprise myself with that list because i am a very easy going guy and can basically let anything slide. however, i suppose it would come along with how my mood tends to swing and if i am in the right mood, this other side (alter-ego) of me becomes alive and takes control. it is then that i realize i'm somewhat ruthless and over-bearing on my judgement of people just on their appearance (the thing we're NOT supposed to judge on). i guess i have a few character flaws. a lot. which is why i think i need to learn how to love. agape. like Jesus. if i could learn to love like Him (well i'd be perfect for one... if i ever used what i'd learned) i would be be much less critical of my behavior on a daily basis and therefore have more peace. and love. (i like the "peace and love" thing there). i guess this must be pretty out of order feeling... well that's a glimpse at my mind.
until next time...

love
the crashing waves stamping in revolt
the outcry of all living things
this is the cry of anguish,
but
there is hope in the hopeless
standing with the wind around us, we cry
we stand in awe of His might
and His love permeates around us
and we are swept away
as if He released His every emotion for us
and His love pervades us
rebelious is the quake of the earth
angry is the cry of the hurricane
but hope bleeds through and we stand
even as blood stains the ground,
and
there is hope in the hopeless
standing with the wind around us, we cry
we stand in awe of His might
His love permeates around us
and we are swept away
as if He released His every emotion for us
ans His love pervades us
as if our love was never enough
as if we were never enough
but He stands
He made us whole, so we stand
and with Him we are enough
there is hope in the hopeless
standing with the wind around us, we cry
we stand in awe of His might
His love permeates around us
and we are swept away
as if He released His every emotion for us
ans His love pervades us,
and
we are wholly His and He is holy

not who i was
Ripping in two
these thoughts of mine
Sinister words at my tongue
Screaming evil words
From deep in my lungs
Sinister thoughts at my heart
Tearing this person
Who I was apart
I don't know who I am
Or why I'm destroying
Everything I was
I don't love who I've become
Or why, what life I had left
I threw out last night
Evil times we are in
Evil trances
Take root from sin
Evil people we are now
Tearing friendships
Down along with vows
Evil ideas we think
Trying our hardest in
Adversity not to blink
I don't know who I am
Or why I'm destroying
Everything I was
I don't love who I've become
Or why, what life I had left
I threw out last night
But I've become something
I can't stand
I'm the very person I once hated
I hate this filthy hand
I don't know who I am
Or why I'm destroying
Everything I was
I don't know why I left
To be replaced with
This monster I've become

for the sake of writing
with my introduction out of the way, i can continue onto something. possibly it will be more entertaining than what i've written, thus far. perhaps it won't. will you come with me on this journey of mine, and follow me into the unknown and beyond? if so, continue reading as you have for the past few moments. if not, exit out of this page and hope that next time, if there is a next time, because you were able to recover from this time, that whatever you read, whether in my blog, which i doubt anyone would come back to a blog by someone who's writings turned them off, in someone else's blog, in a book, in a newspaper, which i don't make a habit of reading, on the internet, or anywhere else you may find literature to read, that you find it more enjoayable a read than this.
there. with both my introduction, and my introduction to my introduction out of the way, i can continue on as planned. now you may think that after all that, 'there must be a surprise ahead, else this odd guy wouldn't have been wasting his tiem with such a lengthy introduction and introduction to the introduction. well i am sorry to be the bearer of incredibly bad news, but i have no surprises planned for the ending of this blog. that however means nothing, seeing as how random thoughts often pop in and out of my head like that old game frogger, when the frog jumps across the street and river into one of five spots on the otherside, hopefully not the one with the croc, hopefully the one with the fly. however i don't want you to get your hopes up, because as random as i can be, there are many times when i can be equally non random. i was looking for the antonym of random, however i found none. that's why i said non random.
so to conclude this discussion of if or if not, and who or who not, and what and what not, I will say, simply, we cannot truly know what we aim to accomplish unless we know what we want to accomplish it for. in essence, if we are fighting for te sake of fighting, what reason is there to fight? however if we are fighting to protect someone we love, well then, we fight for a reason. if we aim to accomplish something great, with no motive, we are lost. if we aim to accomplish something great, for someone or something or God, well then and then only, are we truly accomplishing something great.

I get so frustrated sometimes at how stupid Americans have become. I'd like to give them the benefit of the doubt, but I believe I have done that for long enough. It's time to stand and stand strong. We can not let ourselves be swept away. We must stand against this strong current, this swing to liberalism and Marxism in our country. Oh, I thought I would never see the day when our country would become a communist nation, yet it seems to be just years if not months away. How could we the people let this happen. And yes I hold the people of this country fully responsible, because they are the stupid people who elected our present president elect. I pray in earnest for our country that it will not fail in this time of what seems to be it's greatest trial.
O how I feel I have failed and how my brothers and sisters have failed. Is there never to be a government in the history of the earth that does not grow so powerful that it be becomes corrupt and enslaves it's people? I am only 17 and yet it seems as if our country has decayed into what is just above the level of communism. Our very freedoms are being pried out of our hands, while we sit and watch and and smile. I have never felt so distraught about this. I have never before believed that it would actually come to this. But it has.
Pray with me for our country. Please pray with me for our country. I wouldn't care if I paid twice as much in taxes, but let them not take away our freedoms! Pray my brothers and sisters, for the day in which we live is a very dark day indeed. We must ALL pray as one nations or we will fall divided.

Underneath the Water of Frozen Lakes.
This could be the biggest mystery in the world. Bigger than, yes, even Al Gore being an alien (inside joke). This thing we call a brain seems to have mysteries that cannot be unlocked. Think about it (so cliche'), it is estimated that we use only 3% of our minds. That's not much. What could we do with our minds if we could unlock the rest of our minds? I'm not sure I want to know. It seems that (excuse my blatentness but I don't believe in being politically correct) retarted people are so happy. Is is that the more brain we put to use, the more chaos is unleashed in havoc? Or could we come to peace with ourselves? I really don't know and probably never will. But I think I'm getting a little bit off subject. I'm talking about things I don't understand.
Well yeah I don't understand the mind. And another thing I don't understand is girls... Yeah I know, "original" But It's true. And I'm not even gonna begin to explain for baout two hundred reasons, including that I just plain don't want to because it's... annoyingly complicated? Something like that. Anyhow, another thing I don't understandis God. Yes I believe whole-heartedly in Jehovah but I don't understand Him at all.
In all my hopes to come to know God more I seem to only find out I know less than what I first thought. Still, I can't say I'd have it any other way. I love knowing that while on earth, I will barely scratch the surface of what there is to know about my God. Such relief.
There are many other things I don't understand but the last one I will talk about is that I don't understand why I love Christmas and Thanksgiving so much when I always seem to get depressed. I don't understand What it is that makes me slap on the plastic face and keep going. No I'm not emo. I'm not suicidal in the least. But I still want something more. It seems that this is hard to explain, the thoughts aren't there. However, I'll try. In winter, when the snow flies and the lakes freeze, when the frozen trees are motionless, I want for something real. Maybe it's just that I want to get closer to God. Maybe it's that I want to spend Christmas with whoever is to be my wife (I've still gotta figure that one out) and share in the joy with her. Maybe it's that the joy I experience is so real I finally found that I'm not worthy of such a merciful God. Maybe in the end it all goes back to me not understanding God. Maybe I need Him so much that I don't realize until the time of year when His birth is celebrated, and when I finally do understand I can't take it.
I don't know for sure but that last one seems to weigh on me the heaviest. Although the one about wanting someone to spend the season with does also, haha. But the time will come for that. Right now I know I can turn to my God and He listens. Always and forever. And sometimes he punishes me too. Which by the way, to all you Christians who think God won't send anyone to hell and won't punish anyone... It is the most beautiful thing knowing I have a God who cares enough for me to take the time to punish me so I get back on track.

Regrets...
There is no certainty in our cardboard, gasoline soaked world... Yet there is certainty. The only thing certain is that we have a God who loves us. He stays with us through all troubles and everything we could and ever will endure. Better yet, He knows what it is like to endure all these things.
This is my God I speak of. This is Jehova. This is Jesus. This is the one and ONLY God.
Life: I find it painful sometimes. And I've come to realize that life is the harder of two choices... You must continually choose to live... Once you do it, you have to do it again. It seems hard and long at times, but that's because it is. God's word promises us not happy days, but days filled with turmoil. When you see a Christian suffering and strugling more than you, it's probably because us as Christians have been called to a higher standard. Along with that comes more suffering. As the word of God says, We will endure many hardships, the Righteous man will fall seven (in Hebrew when the word seven was used it meant endless) times and get back up and keep walking.
Death: It has and always will be the easier choice... It is a choice made once. Although you may say, "Yeah right! I would never do that!" Well it only takes one time saying yes and you never have to make the choice again. And when depressed it would almost be easier to say yes...
Hope: I don't just wanna come right out and say Jesus. Although He is our hope. So many people get from this way of saying it the wrong message... They hope in Him because their sorrowful life will disappear and their new happy life will come. Unfortunately most people (90%) who think this way fall away from Jesus. The only reason we should submit to Him is through sorrow and fear. For we have all sinned by:
Lying, hating (murder), stealing, adultry (fornication, lust), not honoring the sabath, not loving with all our hearts God, wanting other's posessions, having idols (even thoughts above God are idols), Having other gods, Misusing God's name (g** D*****)
We are all Going to hell. But through Jesus we are saved.
That is where our hope lies. Only in Christ Jesus. Because we are sinners. Deserving the undying flames, and worms that devoure the flesh.
It will always be easier to die. But if we live for God we will recieve a reward beyond words description.
God bless you, my friends

These are tainted times, you say? I very well agree. Yet I also would have to argue the fact that we are spoiled beyond comprehension. Yes you may understand what I'm leaning at here, or you may not. So I will explain. We as Americans, have everything we could ever want. Television, is a commodity in the modern "world" (also known as North America). Microwaves, o! The tales I could tell! What wondress adventures lye in the microwave! Computers??? "Don't 'dis' those! You're using one after all!" (Dis???) Cell phones??? "Let me look that up on the web, on my phone quick." Cameras that let you view the pictures you just took. "Ah, I don't like that one, I'm gonna delete it and take another." Mp3 players? I must say I listen to mine very often. A car? What on earth would we do without cars!?!?!? Who cares about gas prices! You better not take my car!!!!!!!
Now I could tell of many dislikes and likes of all of those. And yes I use about all of them on a daily basis. I'm not saying they're all bad. But if you go outside this great North America, England, parts of China, Japan, and a few others we begin to lose those...
Now how about our homes? Big and luxurious? maybe not, but try living in a one or two room house, with the bathroom, that has but a toilet and nothing else, outside. You'll see your home on a bit larger scale. Or imagine not flushing the toilet paper down with the rest? Odd? How about having to go turn on your water heater the night before just so you have warm water for your shower in the morning. And maybe no microwave? No Computer?!?! AH!!!!!! And then there's the fact you probably have an old junkie car (which is the standard)... Or NONE at all... O! MY! GOSH!!!!!!!!!!!
I love the USA! O, what we would do without it?
So there's a bit. The list goes on and on.........
Now we have something unique, no one else in the world has... We have Freedom. We have a voice. We, the People! We have freedom of religion. We are blessed with so many freedoms!!! Sure, we are fighting for a few... But it's worth a little fight! I mean look at how our nation got started... With an awful war! What about the Civil war to re-unite the staggering states. A very bloody war! Many wars have been fought and many people have died to gain and keep our freedom. Sorry I'm getting side tracked.
I'm just expressing to a few people my thoughts, that most likely wont altar anyone's life. Even in the slightest. Who cares what I say?
Now the point I was making, is this. Why do we complain about our lives'? "O, how horrible is my life" (said very sarcastically) We have everything we could ever need! And though some try and take what is ours, we have the FREEDOM to stand up against them and try and keep what is ours! There are many who oppose Christians. But I'm always up for a good, long, well fought war!
By the way. Learn your facts and present them in a mature way if you want to argue against those who are against us.
God Bless All!
Daniel
